These are the rules for using alchmy.co. They cover the website only. Work that Alchmy does for a client is covered by a separate signed agreement.

Who operates this site

alchmy.co is operated by Alchmy Digital Inc., operating as Alchmy, a founder-led marketing practice in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Alchmy was founded by Yanick Chiasson, who runs it. Where this page says “I”, it means Yanick.

Your agreement

By using alchmy.co, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

What the content is

The content on this site is general information and my professional opinion about marketing, search, advertising and AI. Where I state a fact, I cite the source. Where I state a view, I try to say so.

  • It is not advice about your business. I have not looked at your accounts, your market or your numbers.
  • It is not legal, financial or tax advice.
  • Reading it, or acting on it, does not guarantee any result.
  • The web changes quickly. A page may be out of date on the day you read it, even though I work to keep it current.

Applying is not a contract

The site invites qualified clinics to apply for the90-Day Ottawa Dental Patient Sprint.

  • Sending an application does not create a contract between you and Alchmy.
  • It does not hold a spot, a municipality or a price.
  • I may accept or decline any application.
  • Prices and open spots shown on the site can change until an agreement is signed.
  • Alchmy’s services are governed by a separate written agreement, signed by you and by Alchmy. If that agreement and this site say different things, the agreement decides.

Please make sure that what you put in the form is true, and that you have the authority to apply for the clinic you name.

The Sprint guarantee

The Sprint page describes a guarantee. That description is a summary. The full guarantee, including how the baseline is set and what counts as a qualified inquiry, is written in the signed agreement and is governed by it. The guarantee applies only to clients who have signed that agreement.

Acceptable use

You may read, link to and share this site. Please do not:

  • send false applications, or apply in the name of a person or clinic without their permission
  • send automated or bulk submissions through the form
  • try to break, overload or gain unauthorized access to the site, the form or the systems behind them
  • use the site to send malware, spam or anything unlawful
  • present yourself as Alchmy, or suggest that Alchmy endorses you, when that is not true

Search engines and AI assistants are welcome to read the public pages. Automated form submissions are not welcome.

I may block access for anyone who breaks these rules.

Who owns what

The Alchmy name, the flask mark, and the text, design and original code of this site belong to Alchmy. All rights are reserved, except as set out here.

  • You may quote short passages if you name Alchmy as the source and link to the page.
  • You may view the source of any page and learn from it.
  • You may not copy the site or large parts of it, pass the content off as your own, or use the Alchmy name or the flask mark in a way that could confuse people about who you are.

The open source software and the Archivo typeface used on this site stay under their own licences. Works I cite belong to their owners.

This site links to other sites, including the sources it cites. Alchmy does not control those sites. I link to them because I found them useful or because they support a claim. I am not responsible for what they publish, for changes they make after I cite them, or for how they handle your information.

No warranty

The site is provided as it is and as it is available. To the extent the law of Ontario allows, Alchmy makes no promise, express or implied, that the site will always be available, free of errors, secure, or suited to a particular purpose. I work to keep it accurate and running, but I do not guarantee it.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law of Ontario allows, neither Alchmy nor Yanick Chiasson is liable for any loss or damage that comes from using this site, from being unable to use it, or from relying on its content. This includes indirect losses such as lost profit, lost business or lost data.

If Alchmy is found liable in spite of this, its total liability for everything arising from your use of this website is limited to CA$100, to the extent the law of Ontario allows.

This limit covers the website only. Any services Alchmy provides are governed by the separate signed agreement, including what that agreement says about liability.

Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law does not allow to be limited, and nothing here takes away a right that the law says you cannot give up.

Privacy

The Privacy Policy explains what the site collects and how that information is handled.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute about these terms or the site will be heard by the courts of Ontario.

If a court finds that part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.

Changes to these terms

I may update these terms. When I do, I change the date at the top of this page. The version posted here on the day you use the site is the one that applies.
